Milton S-443 Valve Extractor Tool
Milton (S-443) 3-in-1 Tire Valve Extractor and Inflator Tool - Remove, Inflate, Install. Work smarter, not harder! This is not just another standard valve extractor tool. Milton’s S-443 three-in-one tire valve extractor and inflator also acts as an inflation tool that saves you valuable time. There are seals inside the unit along with a smooth bore, so the tool can hold air. If there’s a large amount of air needed to put into a tire, you want the valve core out of the way, to speed the flow of air through the tire valve. This versatile and inclusive pneumatic valve accessory allows for removing valve cores, inflating tires, and installing cores all with one tool. Valve core remains inside the tool, meaning no more lost valve cores or air escaping. Simply clip this convenient tool clips onto tire valve thread. With the 443: Remove your fill chuck from the tire valve. Install 443. Install Air Chuck onto 443. Grip knurled end push inward , and unscrew valve core. Once unscrewed, pull knurled knob back. (The valve core is now safely held inside of the 443, out of the path of the air but in the airtight chamber.) Inflate to the proper pressure. Grip knurled end push inward , tighten valve core. Remove tire chuck. Remove 443. Install valve cap. Without the 443: Remove your fill chuck from the tire valve. Place valve core tool on valve core. Unscrew valve core from valve. Put valve core tool and the valve core down somewhere (possibly in dirt, which gets dirt on the seal). While you do this, air is escaping from the tire. Put your air chuck on the valve and inflate the tire. Stop filling somewhat near your target tire pressure. Remove the air chuck. Locate your valve core and tool from the dirty surface where you put it down on. Wipe off the dirt. Fight the rush of air coming out of the tire valve to get the valve core in. The air blows the core out of your fingers and onto the ground (more dirt). Pick up the valve core, wipe off the dirt and install it with the valve core tool. (A lot of air escaped from the tire during that.) Reinstall your tire chuck. Inflate to the proper pressure. Remove tire chuck. Install valve cap.
