UNIQUE CONCEPT:
The Autowbrake is a self-contained fully functional, electric brake control that mounts where it truly belongs - on the trailer. With the Autowbrake, you can get emergency braking or general braking from your trailer brakes automatically. This means that, unlike time-delay controllers - which send the same amount of preset power to your trailer brakes every time - proportional controllers are able to adapt to every braking situation differently.WIRING & POWER OPTIONS
Because Autowbrake is wired in your trailer wiring and not your tow vehicle, you have multiple wiring options. Option 1: Vehicle with 7 way plug & 12 volt line: Connect power to your 12 volt line on trailer/ junction box to draw power from the tow vehicle or trailer 12 volt battery (as long as battery remains fully charged via charge line or solar). Option 2: Vehicle with 4 way plug and not a 12 volt line: You may use vehicle lights on junction box as a power source on some vehicles, or utilize trailer 12 volt battery if it is kept charged with solar from trailer. *Option 2 may not work on newer vehicles with smart-alternators.QUICK & EASY INSTALLATION:
Once the Autowbrake is mounted on your trailer and connected to your vehicle, there is no sync up necessary to the key fob.VERSATILITY:
