Cat® T Bolt Band Clamp Shield used for Exhaust Manifold

A T-Bolt Band Clamp Shield is used in the Exhaust assembly to provide additional protection to the exhaust pipes and connections. It is designed to be used in conjunction with T-bolt bent band clamp which secures the end exhaust manifold with the center exhaust manifold. It contains shields that have a U-shaped profile to wrap around the joint between the exhaust manifolds to protect the clamp from high heat.

Attributes:
● Provided with shields that withstand high temperatures and stresses of the exhaust manifold.
● Provided with a clamp that withstands high temperatures of 426° C
● High strength and corrosion resistance.

Applications:
A T-Bolt Band Clamp Shield is used to hold and secure the exhaust manifold and provides protection against heat, mostly used in CAT 3512, 3512C, C11, C13, C15, and C280-16 Engine (Piston), 5200, 6060, and 6060X Excavators, 785D Truck (Incl Truck Tractors), C15 Engine-General Platform (C15), C15 Power Systems, TH55 Powertrain (Power modules, Trans, Tc).
