Replaces core plug on center of Right Side. Heater kit includes special high temperature cordset. Engine may also accept oil pan heater 3500006 (3116 only). Freeze Plug Heaters are used to heat the engine fluids of gas and diesel vehicles to ensure quicker winter starts and reduce engine wear in cold weather.
